About Me

Hello family, friends, and whoever wants to come along for the ride. For those who know me, here is a little reminder and those who don’t, let me tell you a little about myself.

The meaning behind my blog name is a family nickname. When I was younger, I would make my parents read me my favorite book “Koala Lou” very frequently. My nickname quickly became “Leah Lou.” Somehow over time, my name has lost its way and now I am just “Lou.” In addition to my childhood, I have always been a mess. Ask anyone I know or you can have a sneak peek for yourself:
I am such a little kid at heart. I enjoy and love to make anything crafty, help my momma in the kitchen, and bake sweet goodies! Therefore, I decided to create this blog that would share my messes that I enjoy whether it comes from the kitchen or the craft table.

I want you all to realize something before you continue reading below and my blog posts. You may find errors while reading - my blogs will all be a rough draft, I will not have time to edit (nor cared too since they will never be graded)! Secondly, this will not be a witty blog site as much as I would like it to be. Unluckily, I did not get the funny gene from my sweet ole daddy. Ask my friends, I’ve tried watching Comedy Central and reading joke books – it just doesn’t work. You either got it or you don’t.

Currently, I am in my early twenties. I recently graduated from The University of Georgia and have been blessed with the life God has given me. My parents, two sisters, fiancé and friends have been very loving, supportive, and taught me many life lessons to be ahead for my age. Every person who has been a part of my life has helped shaped me into the person I am today and I wouldn’t change it for the world.

As you continue to read my blogs you will probably find out a little more about me. For instance, my family is loud, crazy, and fun; somehow, I am the quietest one of the bunch. I'm lucky to get a word in. I have one of the biggest hearts you will meet. I will go out of my way for just about anyone and try to make you smile. As much as I like to cook, bake, and do crafts - I'm not a girly girl. Instead of dressing up, I'd rather be at a sports game (UGA football, Braves Baseball, Hawks basketball to just name a few) or doing anything outdoorsy. I absolutely love puppies and literally obsessed with my own. Michael and I have two. Sierra is five years old and she is a Lab/Sheppard mix. Truthfully, she shakes her hips more than any girl I know. Our new addition, Herschel, is a 9 month old pup that is a mix that consists of an Australian  Sheppard and whatever you want to guess what the dad was. Hersch will steal the show wherever he goes with his sweet and loving personality. In addition, my family, friends, and fiancé have gotten use to me documenting every event with pictures. There is no such thing as taking too many photos. So I hope you enjoy the random photos below to get to know my life a little more through pictures outside of crafting, cooking, and baking!
